Der engere Ministerrat der Bundesregierung hat am Freitagvormittag entschieden, die geplanten Maßnahmen zur Anhebung der Mehrwertsteuer auf Take-away-Speisen sowie auf kulturelle Angebote zurückzunehmen. Dieser Reformteil war zuvor vom Staatsrat scharf beanstandet worden. Nun ist die Regierung gefordert, eine andere Möglichkeit zu finden, um die Mehrwertsteuer in diesen Bereichen neu zu regeln.
